Located on the top floor of The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, the first FLAIR Rooftop Restaurant & Bar in China is situated 258 meters above Shanghai. Whilst cherishing treasured memories of its past, it will set forth to provide a new sensory experience for guests, allowing them to create new FLAIR memories.
As Shanghai’s highest iconic rooftop venue on the 58th floor, FLAIR is located right in the center of Lujiazui. With a spectacular view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, FLAIR is the perfect spot for viewing the stunning scenery of the city skyline, the entirety of the Huangpu River and The Bund, as well as offering breathtaking sunset views, presenting a unique experience in the heart of the city.

Designed by Japanese design company STRICKLAND, FLAIR’s new interior concept is inspired by characteristics of Shanghai as a refreshing and diverse melting pot of various cultures. It celebrates the memories by using elements of the original design to create a warm and chic ambiance. Then synchronizing with modern geometric interior design elements, it ingeniously connects the story of the old and new eras and the shared memories of Shanghai. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the enthralling view of Shanghai’s skyline and visually attractive bar counters encompassing the space. The rhombus-shaped metal lattice design amidst wood and stone materials creates a design narrative filled with history amongst the modern glamor. Moreover, the split-level outdoor space has been revitalized so the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower can be viewed from any location in the outdoor area. The various seating options is accentuated by a semi-private indoor daybed feature, these feature areas allow guests to enjoy the space with family and friends.
In addition to the innovative space design, FLAIR also brings brand-new creations to the table. Chef Simone Yapp and his team gather inspirations from “REBORN FROM MEMORIES” to upgrade FLAIR menu with a variety of refreshing Asian delicacies in sharing style. Bar Manager Ming Liao, an award-winning bar manager from Taiwan, China brings his extensive experience in successfully running several bars to deliver incomparable bar journey for FLAIR guests.
FLAIR Rooftop Restaurant & Bar provides an unparalleled music experience and a sense of exclusiveness for all kinds of social scenarios throughout the week.
